People take for granted, what they already have.
When they lose it, they realize how much they needed it.
A family member. The safety of your own home. A friend.
People take for granted, what they already have.
After they lose it, they learn how to deal with it.
After a family member dies. After you lose the safety of your own home. After a friend moves far away.
It’s like drowning. You never realize how much you depend on your breath until you lose it.
If, and when, they regain what they have lost, they think “Now I know what it would be like without this. Now I should rely less on having this.”<br>It is a lesson we all need to learn. The hard way.
The lesson that tells. The lesson that hurts. The lesson of life, and death.
People take for granted, what they already have.
When they lose it, they realize how much they needed it.
The later we learn this lesson, the harder it will be.
When a kid, if you learn this, you can know not to take for granted, what you already have.
Not to rely.
To appreciate what you have. We can hope we never lose things, but they will always fade away.
Through death, through wear, or even through time itself.
People take for granted, what they already have.
When they lose it, they realize how much they needed it.
If you don’t know how to handle it, you will wallow in your despair.
If you know how to handle it, you will be sad, but you will manage, you will come back. You will rise again
It is a lesson we all need to learn. The hard way.
The lesson that tells. The lesson that hurts. The lesson of life, and death.
Once we learn it, we need not despair. For everything will end, it is inevitable.
But when will it end. That is the question.
Will it end now? Will it end later? When will it end?
Sometimes we are glad, when things end.
When a war ends. When sickness ends. When the time of fear, and death, and destruction comes to a halt.
Sometimes we are angry when things end. When the peace stops. When the life of a loved one ends. When joy ends. When life itself ends.
But we must not despair,
For it is difficult to climb out of the pit that is despair, but all things end, including the sadness of losing something.
The hate. The death. The memories.
But sometimes we remember.
And sometimes we are sad when we remember
Sometimes we are joyful when we remember.
It all depends. Whether it is joy, or hate. Or peace, or war. Or life, or the despair of death.
It all depends
People take for granted, what they already have.
When they lose it, they realize how much they needed it
